The Panda and the Deceitful Cupcake
A panda and a cupcake lived together in harmony for a very long time.  They trusted each other and confided in one another with everything.  One day the panda asked a minor favor of the cupcake.  “Dearest Cupcake will you buy me some peanut butter, I really need peanut butter my life depends on it.  You see I ate some rancid chocolate and I hear peanut butter cures it.”  “Of course I can do that for you,” the cupcake said while crossing his fingers.  The Cupcake did not believe that this was a cure and honestly could not care less about the Panda's minor food poisoning and insisted he was over reacting.  If the Panda had known the Cupcake had not cared he would not have hesitated to go get it himself.  The Cupcakes carelessness and the Panda’s trust left dear ol’ panda laying with his eyes shut forever.

The Milk-Woman and Her Pail
In this fable the moral is, “Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.” I chose this fable because the moral happens to many people. It is important to me because I once counted my chickens before they hatched and it did not end up good. I once had worked for hours after school, I was trying to save money to buy a Coach purse that I always wanted. The weekend had came and I got paid $400. I told everyone I got a new Coach purse when I haven’t even bought it yet. I had went to the movies that night and the bag I had with all my money got stolen. And at the end I ended up with no money and no purse.
 Re-written Fable
There was a boy named Alfredo. He had stolen a whole bunch of jewels and gold. He was walking through the streets of Los Angeles on his way to sell everything, thinking of all the money he was going to make. Alfredo, being so excited, got jumped and was left with nothing.

The Lion in Zebra’s Clothing
One upon a time, deep in the hot grasslands of the Africa there was a very hungry lion.  The lion had been having a taste for a good piece of meat, but this lion was getting old and wasn’t as fast as he used to be so he needed to find a way to catch an animal to eat.   So, one day the lion had found skin of a zebra that had been flayed and thrown aside.  The lion thought for a second and came up with a brilliant idea.  The lion put it on over itself and strolled down among the other zebras.  The baby zebra that belonged to the mom zebra whose skin the lion was wearing, started to follow the lion.  The lion then took the baby zebra far enough to wear other zebras could see.  Then shortly after the lion made a meal off of the baby zebra.  For some time the lion succeeded in deceiving the zebra, enjoying many meals.

           Appearances are deceptive...
I chose the fable The Hare and The Tortoise because, the turtle obviously has no chance of winning, but he does anyways. And this can relate to me because, if I know someone is better at something than I am, I usually don’t put in a lot of effort.  This applies especially to art things, if I sit next to someone I know is artistic,  I usually don’t want to try my best because I don’t want my best to look not good enough. But sometimes, I will try even though I don’t think I will do as good as someone I know who is good at whatever I’m doing, and then my results will come out better than I expected.
Re-Written Version of The Tortoise & the Hare
There was a rabbit bragging about how fast he was and he was looking for someone to race. A turtle came up to him and told the rabbit that he will race him. The rabbit laughed at him and thought he was joking. Then, later, the rabbit and turtle were about to race. The rabbit went ahead and could no longer be seen. The turtle kept slowly trudging on. As the turtle kept going on, a strong wind came along, and the turtle tucked his legs and head in his shell, and started rolling. As soon as he came to a stop, he noticed he was past the finish line, a few seconds later the rabbit ran past the finish line too. The rabbit was furious, because he decided to take a quick nap to show sympathy for the turtle.

The Unicorn and the Three Ninja Cupcakes
Three ninja cupcakes ventured together for a long time.  A unicorn galloped in the hope of eating them for dessert, but was afraid they would overcome him with their samurai swords if they were all together.  The unicorn beguiled them into separating and attacked them without fear as he feasted on them one by one at his own leisure.

        Union is strength...
